You might remember that a few weeks ago we launched our Limited Edition Diamond Jubilee Leather Journal. We were so encouraged by the response they've received that we decided to send one to the Queen! Can you imagine our surprise, when a few weeks later we received this response from Buckingham Palace in which they stated how delighted they were with our gift, support and loyalty and to top it all off, it was personally signed by Her Majesty’s lady-in-waiting, Philippa De Pass. When the whole country gets together to celebrate events like the Diamon Jubilee and Olympics.
“what makes you proud to be British?”
A: I think Britain must have the longest reigning monarch in history with Queen Elizabeth marking her 60th year on the throne.
I find this fact quite astounding and it is something that certainly makes me proud to be British. Elizabeth is the quintessential ambassador and no one with true British blood can fail to be emotionally touched by the pomp and ceremony of such a red, white and Royal blue celebration in our countries historically-rich tapestry.
Our Heritage and History which will shape our futures makes me proud to be British
What makes me proud to be British - everything that being British stands for! Our Monarchy, the work we do supporting those less fortunate than ourselves, and the fact that so many countries look to us as an example of what they should strive to be.
What makes me proud to be British?
Through history we've nurtured some of the greatest playwrights, poets, writers, artists, doctors, engineers (the list is endless) in the world.
We're eclectic, multicultural and understanding; our favourite dish is curry! How wonderful is that? And our favourite drink tea!
We're traditional and yet open to change; and drawing on the theme of monarchy, the wonderful Queen Elizabeth II has altered the line of succession to include women and still maintained the pageantry that makes our country unique. Tip Top.
We have some of the wildest and yet,diverse and breathtaking scenery in the world. In every corner we have undiscovered sites dripping in culture and beauty.
Us Britons are like wood pigeons;we bumble about, we moan, we fight, we chatter and we can be hugely annoying. We're not as fancy as a hawk, nor as forthright and steely as an eagle, or even as beautiful as a peacock. But, if we left the skies, you'd miss us.
Now, time to put the kettle on.
Our diversity and civil justice.
Because we do everything that everyone else does but we do it better!

Our high-spirits and enthusiasm to all come together and celebrate events like this (come rain or shine!)
I think that the Culture and history of britain is what makes me proud to be British. I think that the way we get on with it when times are tough is what separates us from the rest of the world and makes us great. I for one am proud to be able to celebrate her majesty's diamond jubilee with the rest of the country...RULE BRITANIA!!!!
When I travel abroad and say I'm from Britain the people i have met only have good things to say, also when I do my voluntary work in Kenya the schools love anything british which warms my heart.
I am extremely proud of my nationality because being British I know that, irrespective of their own country's size, power or wealth, most other people of the world respect, admire and envy us for so many reasons. Whilst many may try hard to emulate us, they can never have the precious jewel which is the privilege of being born in these isles.
