Gift Wrap
We offer a professional giftwrap service to complement your pen or leather journal. Simply check the giftwrap option on the product page before you add to basket (a charge of £2.75 will be added).
We use a premium silver giftwrap paper with a subtle two-tone patterned effect, and a hand tied silver ribbon. We also include a matching gift tag, which can be appended with a message of your choice. Simply add your message to the text box when you reach your basket. Items are giftwrapped individually i.e. if you order several items only the specific item requested will be wrapped.
We do not include any paperwork inside the giftwrapped item. If you select a different delivery name to your billing details, we add a gift receipt which hides all prices.

What is Blind Embossing?
We use a hand operated embossing machine that uses heat and pressure to create an impression in the leather.
We offer blind embossing which uses an impression to create a colourless yet elegant finish. We also offer a silver and gold finish, where we insert silver/gold leaf into the impression.
Will embossing delay my order?
No. All orders with an embossing placed before 3pm are despatched the same day. This is because we do all embossing in-house.
Where is my message embossed?
Typically it is in the lower right hand corner. Please check the embossing preview on each individual product for a more precise position.
What can I Emboss?
You can emboss lowercase and uppercase alphabetical characters, as well as basic grammatical characters.
If you choose initials, you can emboss between 2 and 5 characters. The character limit varies for one line and two line, depending on the journal size (please check individual product pages)
Can You Emboss Logos?
Yes - If your order value is over £250 there is no set up fee. If you would like just a few journals with your logo, there is a set up fee of £50. Please call us on 0208 731 8610 for more info.

All orders placed before 3pm Mon-Fri are despatched the same day (except on a bank holiday), even if your order has personalisation. Orders placed after 3pm, at the weekend or on a bank holiday are despatched next working day.
We deliver worldwide with a choice of standard (tracked post) and express (DHL air) delivery for most countries. Standard delivery to European countries is €6.50 and takes approx. 2-5 working days, whilst express is €20 and takes 1-2 days. To USA we offer DHL air 2-5 days as a standard service for $8. Returns Information
Please return any unwanted items within 21 days of purchase. The item must still be in a re-saleable condition and returned with proof of purchase. Items that have been personalised cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Please email support@penheaven.com if you wish to return an item, and we can provide a returns label. The charge from Europe is €8 and £10 from most other major countries.
Should you receive a damaged or incorrectly dispatched item, please inform us within 7 days of receipt, so we can advise you on the return of the item. Call 0208 731 8610 or email support@penheaven.com. A returns label will be provided free of charge

This is a great sized leather bound notebook. The leather is great, smooth with some flex, although it will take some time before the notebook will sit open. It loses a star however because the paper is only just good enough. I am a fountain pen user and the the paper is a little too "toothed/rough" and there is a tendency for some soak through onto the next page. If this notebook had Midori of Tomoe river paper it would be perfect

Love this leather bound notebook. Perfect size, very good quality, reasonably priced and I love the color of the leather and the option of having my initials imprinted on it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the colour of the journal. It was described as 'yellow' and looked like a darker shade of yellow in the picture. I specifically required a proper yellow as it is my friend's favourite colour and I had bought a pen to match it, for her birthday. However, at best it could be described as 'tan'. More brown than yellow. If it wasn't for the fact that I had initials pressed into the journal, I would have returned it. Also, I was disappointed with the edging as it looked unfinished. However, considering the price, I suppose it was not too surprising.

Excellent quality plain leather cover - very nondescript and perfect as a journal or notebook. The pages are lined and made of good-quality, strong paper. Has a nice weight in the hand. Overall, very aesthetic and perfect for my intentions as a journal.

I was a little disappointed as the aubergine colour of the journal ordered was definitely dark navy blue rather than the beautiful purple colour shown, also beware the embossing is a lot larger than shown and so did not sit nicely in the bottom corner but took up most of the bottom area of the journal, this may look better on a larger size journal. As it is a Christmas gift for my daughter (her first proper journal), I am a little disappointed.
